Young Creatives Special Session: Fish Out of Water

Curious about Young Creatives? Enjoy art, performance, making things, drawing, storytelling, creating characters or trying something new?

Join us for a special Young Creatives session with visiting artists Dan Jones and Tash, who are developing Fish Out of Water, a creative project that will appear at events across North Sheffield this summer.

During the session, we’ll explore the themes and ideas behind the project through a mixture of creative activities, discussion, visual arts, performance, making and experimentation. You’ll get to meet the artists, find out more about their work, and contribute your own ideas.

This session is part of our regular Young Creatives programme, but we’re opening up a small number of additional places for young people aged 11–16 who might be interested in this project or in joining the group in the future.

Young Creatives is a free weekly creative group run by RivelinCo. We work with professional artists, explore different creative practices,
create performances, go on trips, develop community projects, and collaborate on ideas that matter to us.

No previous experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and imagination!

Time: 5.30pm–7.30pm

Venue: RivelinCo Neighbourhood Arts Space, 96–100 Middlewood Road, Sheffield

The session is free, but booking is essential as places are limited.

Access Information
The space is step-free, although there is a small ridge across the doorway. We have an accessible all-gender toilet, a quiet area, noise-cancelling headphones available, and refreshments will be provided. We will have air purifiers running. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you take part comfortably.
