The Blanket Fort Club is an accessible immersive, sensory theatre experience which welcomes everyone, especially children with learning disabilities. The huge blanket fort is a wondrous place full of possibilities and imagination: discover the Three Little Pigs in the Story Room, splash through the puddles in the rain corridor, or construct a castle in the Building Room!
Designed for ages 5-8 and their families, but all ages welcome.
A Saturday ticket is for the performance only (approx 60mins), or a Monday ticket is for a family blanket shop workshop as well as the performance (approx 180mins). Refreshments will be available to purchase, or feel free to bring your own.
Tickets are 'Pay What You Can'. This means you can choose to give a donation of your choice – it’s a fair way to make sure everyone can take part. Anything you can pay will help us cover the costs of the event, and put on more like it in the future.
We will be hosting extra Blanket Fort workshops for children eligible for free school meals, and their families, during the Easter holidays. Check https://sheffieldhealthyholidays.org/ a bit closer to the time to book on!
We aim to be an inclusive and intergenerational organisation, so accessibility is very important to us. If you are nervous about attending a session for the first time, we can arrange a pre-meet or call. You can find other access information about each of the spaces we work in, as well as our access statement, at www.rivelinco.org/access. For enquires please contact email@example.com or call 0114 327 1670.
