Share & Repair: Community Repair Shop & Skill Share

Holes in your jumpers? Bike got a puncture? Radio on the blink? Come along to Share and Repair where our amazing volunteers will fix your stuff for free! They can also teach you how to do it yourself, if you like…

Share and Repair is a FREE community repair shop and skillshare. Local volunteers, craftspeople and businesses offer their help to repair items that have seen better days, and share their skills with others. At this event we can offer:

– Bike checks, adjustments, small repairs, and guidance on how to do it on your own
– Small electrical repairs
– Clothing and fabric repairs

Please note that the service doesn’t include providing new parts, so if those are needed, please bring them along with you.

You don’t need a ticket and it’s free. Repairs and advice are given on a first come, first served basis. Bring the item you want our volunteers to have a look at and they will do their best to help!

Our next event will take place on Saturday 23 May, 11am – 2pm, in our Neighbourhood Arts Space at 96-100 Middlewood Road. This space is our new home and our full access statement is coming soon. The space has step-free access, an accessible all-gender toilet, and we will have air purifiers running. We have a portable hearing loop.
