Open Up Sheffield Open Studios and Exhibition: Young Creatives present ‘Resting in the Ruins’

Join us for Resting in the Ruins, a powerful new exhibition by RivelinCo’s Young Creatives group. Featuring sculpture, creative writing, visual art and stop-motion, the exhibition explores themes of place, imagined futures, and the need for rest and safety in a chaotic world.

Young Creatives is a free, youth-led group for 11–16-year-olds, offering a space for local young people to explore the arts, build skills, and shape their own creative projects. Since 2023, they’ve delved into zine-making, animation, poetry, pickling and more—alongside cultural trips and hands-on experience in creative producing.

This exhibition is part of Open Up Sheffield 2025, and we can’t wait to share what they’ve created!

Their free, drop-in open studio and exhibition will take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May between 11am and 5pm each day. Come along any time!
