Introduction to Palestinian Embroidery

We are really excited to announce an extra addition to our programme this Summer! On Sunday 14 July we will be hosting an Introduction to Palestinian Embroidery workshop, run by the brilliant Tatreez Revival. No experience is needed and we'll be providing snacks and drinks.

Tatreez Revival is a collective dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of Palestinian embroidery, known as tatreez. Founded with the mission to teach this traditional craft, Tatreez Revival brings tatreez to the forefront of cultural appreciation and community building. By offering workshops, resources, and an online platform for artists and learners, the collective ensures that the intricate stitches and rich heritage of tatreez are passed down to future generations. Through their efforts, Tatreez Revival not only keeps this artistic tradition alive but also fosters a sense of connection and community among enthusiasts worldwide.

All proceeds from this workshop will be donated in support of the Palestinian people.
