Hillsborough Park Midsummer Festival 2025

After the success of our first Midsummer Festival in 2023, RivelinCo are once more teaming up with partners and brilliant local groups for an EPIC Midsummer Festival across all the different venues in Hillsborough Park!

Join us for FREE arts and craft activities, outdoor games, music, performances, theatre, cycling, gardening, dementia-friendly activities, food and drink, and stalls from local makers – suitable for all ages!

Midsummer Festival takes place across Hillsborough Park, both indoors and outdoors

The event is free and you don’t need a ticket
There is level or ramped access into all of the indoor spaces
There are bench seats throughout the park
There are good quality wide tarmac paths throughout the park. Some of these have an incline
There are pay and display car parks accessed via Parkside Road and Hawksley Avenue. Both of these car parks have a small number of Blue Badge parking bays available
Food and soft drinks are available to buy but alcohol won’t be sold. You are welcome to bring your own food and eat it in the outdoor areas.
Dogs are welcome everywhere except inside the library (unless support dogs)
The event is breastfeeding friendly and there is a quieter space to breastfeed inside the library
There is a prayer space inside the library
It’s going to be hot! You can refill your water bottle for free at Depot Bakery and at the Pavilion
There are all gender toilets available throughout the event
There are accessible toilets at the Pavilion and at Depot Bakery, and there will also be an accessible Portaloo
There is a Changing Places toilet in the library, accessed by a radar key
There are baby changing facilities at Depot Bakery, the Pavilion, and inside the library
