The Pavilion is part of Gathering Ground, the collective name for several venues in Hillsborough Park which are managed by Age UK Sheffield. RivelinCo are the official creative partner for the spaces, so several of our activities take place there.
Grow Your Own Oyster Mushrooms
Have you ever wished you could grow your own delicious mushrooms ? In this workshop with Alani Shafiq you'll learn about the queer life cycle of fungi, and get all the skills and equipment you need to mix a mushroom kit that you can take home and watch grow!

Bursaries
Many of our activities are already free or pay-what-you-can. For the activities that cost money, we run a bursary and referral scheme for people who face a cost barrier to taking part. We work with local partners to offer this, for example with Age UK Sheffield who refer adults aged 50+. For more information about bursaries please email access@rivelinco.org or call 0114 327 1670.
Pay It Forward
A Pay It Forward ticket is a regular ticket which includes a bonus donation, which helps us to subsidise and provide bursaries for people who might not otherwise be able to afford to take part.
Refunds
We are unfortunately not able to issue refunds if you can no longer attend an event, but we are happy to transfer your ticket to another person of your choice with some advance notice. If RivelinCo have to cancel an event for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
