The Pavilion is part of Gathering Ground, the collective name for several venues in Hillsborough Park which are managed by Age UK Sheffield. RivelinCo are the official creative partner for the spaces, so several of our activities take place there.
Dementia-Friendly Cinema: The Wizard of Oz
A community cinema experience designed for people living with dementia and their carers, though anyone who would like to see the film is welcome. The space will be lighter, sound will be lower, and snacks and fidget items will be provided.
The Wizard of Oz (1939, U) is a classic movie about Dorothy and her dog Toto who are transported by a terrifying tornado from Kansas to the magical land of Oz, from where they set out on the yellow brick road to the Emerald City to seek the mysterious Wizard of Oz.
Tickets are free.
