Artist Support Hub: Adapting Your Practice For Creative Facilitation

A mini masterclass in adapting your creative practice into workshops, suitable for Sheffield-based artists, writers and creatives who have limited creative facilitation experience.

During the session you’ll explore:
– what lies at the heart of your practice, and how facilitation could be an asset, not an add-on
– some facilitation and co-facilitation techniques and group exercises
– some practical considerations for workshops in different settings, e.g. schools, community settings, prisons
– opportunities to ask questions, share ideas, and think about what’s next

The session will be led by Deanna Rodger, a leading poet and facilitator in the UK. She has been welcomed to perform and facilitate workshops all across the world including: Mexico, Sudan and Lebanon, and has been commissioned by institutions such as: Adidas, FIFA, St Paul’s Cathedral, and BBC.
