100 Apples: Orchards of the Future Open Workshop @ Stannington Library

What might the orchards of the future look like?
Drop in and experiment with printmaking, collage, ink, drawing, typography and mixed media to create your own future-focused apple artwork. There will also be the chance to record words and sounds to accompany your creation.
Your artwork will become part of 100 APPLES, a collaborative installation made by local young people for Stannington Apple Day.
Open to young people aged 5-16 and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This is a free, drop-in activity – stay for as little or as long as you like. There’s no need to take part in every activity, and recording words or sounds is completely optional.
Access: Stannington Library has step-free access and an accessible toilet. Materials and support will be available for different ages and ways of taking part. If there’s anything else that would help you or your young person take part, please email youth@rivelinco.org.
