In November 2021 we began testing the model for intergenerational poetry picnics, which are interactive performances led by celebrated poet and author Simon Mole and musician Gecko. We piloted the project at Northfield Nursing Home, including co-creating a beautiful song with residents about their memories of dancing at Sheffield City Hall. We also hosted a performance for children and families, including a local Brownies group, in the Pavilion in Hillsborough Park.
