We are so excited to be working with Yorkshire based sculptor Dan Jones and performer Natasha Holmes this summer on our Rubbish Commission. Dan’s amazing artwork is called ‘Fish Out Of Water’ and is a shimmering, human-powered trout come to life. It celebrates Sheffield rivers’ incredible return from pollution and rubbish to thriving biodiversity, and comes complete with a team of fisherpeople – fishing for litter! The Fish will be built from recycled and repurposed materials in partnership with Scrapdragon, and community workshops will run alongside. Find the fish at community events, fairs, and festivals across S5 and S6 this summer, making its debut at Stannington Carnival in July.
