As part of the Sheffield Healthy Holidays (HAF) scheme, we host a Family Disco every Easter, Summer and Christmas. The disco is primarily for children eligible for free school meals and their families, and whole generations of families are encouraged to attend: from babies to grandparents and everyone in between.
Family Discos are free, and include a nutritious meal, movement and dance workshops, party games, face painting, and arts and crafts.
For some Family Discos, our Young Creatives have created props and decorations for the community to share and celebrate with, for example a photobooth at the 2024 Easter Disco.
