Team members

Julie is a finance professional who has worked with several large and mid scale arts and third sector organisations across South Yorkshire. Julie originally joined the RivelinCo Board in 2024, and stepped down in 2026 to join the staff team as Finance Manager on a freelance basis.

Joe moved to Sheffield 14 years ago and has been here ever since, now living in Hillsborough, after a brief stint living in the Basque Country in 2025. His background is in youth work and he has been supporting various youth and community organisations across Sheffield and Leeds for the past 8 years. He speaks Spanish, French, and a little bit of Basque. Joe loves mountain biking, playing lego, and exploring new places. Joe supports our weekly Young Creatives group for teenagers, as well as school holiday activities for children and families.

Ai Narapol is a photographer and film-maker based in Sheffield, and uses her skills to support and document RivelinCo's work, and help us to tell our story. Many of the beautiful project photographs, films and reels we share online have been created with care by Ai.

We work with a brilliant team of Casual Arts Support Workers: friendly faces who you'll regularly see setting up and supporting our events and activities. Our Arts Support Worker pool currently includes Amy Paget, Chukwuka Adigwu, Helen Drake, Jack Latham, Jacqui Moore, Jake Hall, Lydia Allison, Max Munday, Robin West, and Ted Steptoe.

Sarah is thrilled to be a board member at RivelinCo. She is the Director (Arts and Education) at darts in Doncaster, leading arts activity with children, young people and families. Sarah is also a play therapist and has previously worked with schools, alternative provisions and theatres across the country. She loves to read, travel and swim and really enjoys hearing about all the great work at RivelinCo!

Chloe joined the RivelinCo Board in 2026. They are the Executive Director at China Plate, a theatre and arts charity working across the West Midlands, nationally, and internationally. Previously Chloe worked for organisations including Contact (Manchester's young people's arts centre) and Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Tottenham. Chloe is passionate about embedding access, equity, and care into arts working practices.

Christine is a Hillsborough resident and valued RivelinCo partner and participant. She is a retired teacher, and most recently was the Chair of the Friends of Hillsborough Park.

Liz is a qualified social worker with over 25 years of experience across social care. She most recently worked as a quality practice development manager with Livability, a disability charity which connects people with their communities, and is also a Trustee with Drake Music. Liz is passionate about diversity, wellbeing and enabling people to be creative.

Nisha is a local resident who started writing short stories during lockdown. She is now working on her first novel. Nisha works as a Communications Officer for Transport Action Network, an organisation that campaigns for better sustainable transport. She also works as a Member Pioneer for the Co-op, helping to link the business to local charities. Nisha is the Founder of Good News Shared, a platform for uplifting charitable stories from around the world, and has created a guided gratitude journal.

Sarah loves being creative and supporting others to get involved and enjoy the arts. Sarah has been the Head of Participation at Cast in Doncaster for almost a decade, and has worked in and around Sheffield as a drama practitioner making and creating theatre. Sarah loves living in Oughtibridge, and enjoying all the brilliant things the North of Sheffield has to offer, and is really excited to join the RivelinCo Board at the beginning of 2026.

Sharon joined the RivelinCo Board in 2026. She lives and works in the North of Sheffield where she has loved running her own research and evaluation company, working with communities on projects in the arts, culture and sports sectors across Yorkshire and beyond. Sharon believes deeply in the power of arts, culture, and creative practice to transform communities, build confidence, and strengthen collective wellbeing. She is also Chair of Governors at a primary school in North Sheffield. Sharon practices Muay Thai and is currently writing a book (inspired by a RivelinCo creative writing course!)

Ian volunteers at Share & Repair, fixing small electrical items for the local community. He has also completed a PAT testing qualification with RivelinCo, and supports the organisation with PAT testing our electrical items each year.
