Singing In…Hillsborough
For anybody who wants to sing!
Join our community singing group in Hillsborough Stadium – it’s open to anyone who wants to sing and there won’t be any auditions, ever! It doesn’t matter if you think you can’t sing, we believe you can, and sessions are also about having fun. We sing a mixture of pop, folk, jazz, classical and music from around the world. There will be things you know and things you’ve never heard before. You don’t need to be able to read music to take part.
Sessions are relaxed and all ages are welcome, though under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Babes in arms are also very welcome!
Sessions take place on Wednesdays, 12pm-1.30pm. You’re welcome to drop in and sessions are free/pay what you can. This means you can come along for free or donate an amount of your choice.
Singing In… Hillsborough is a partnership between Singing In…, and RivelinCo.
All Singing sessions take place in Guest Lounge at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club (Hillsborough Stadium). If you ask at SWFC reception they will be able to show you the way! The reception is just off Parkside Road, S6 1SW. There is step-free access to the room and hot drinks are provided.
