We’re really excited to be holding our second Share and Repair – a community repair shop and skillshare – on Saturday 1st October, 12-3pm! The event is free and drop-in, come along any time. It will be held at the Bradbury Makers’ Shed in Hillsborough Park.
So far we will have bike repairs, sewing repairs and fixes, and a stall from local artist Helen Drake – watch this space for more updates!
Share and Repair events will see local volunteers, craftspeople and businesses offering their help to repair items that have seen better days, and sharing these skills with people from the Hillsborough community.
It’s not too late to volunteer your skills either – if you’re a Sheffield maker or business who has expertise around repairs (crockery, electrical, furniture, anything really!) we would love to hear from you. Anybody can get involved – whether your skill is a hobby or a job – you’ll be very welcome, and in return we are happy to profile your business or workshop at our event and on social media.
